Our hostels are primarily designed to cater to backpackers and smart travelers, fostering a dynamic and social atmosphere. To maintain the unique hostel vibe and culture, we have implemented an age bar. As a brand, we do not permit anyone below 18 years of age to stay with us, even if accompanied with their guardians at all our hostels except our hostels at Kasar Devi, Shoja, Ramgarh, Kareri, Narkanda, Tirthan Valley, Jeolikote, Bhandardara, Chakrata and Amritsar. In case you are traveling with your family, a hotel would be more suitable to your needs.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The Hosteller also believes and promotes lean hospitality essentially meaning that we are believers of self-service, no porter/valet/etc. and are a no frills hospitality company. This is ingrained in our operating model in order to provide excellent services to our guests while keeping the accommodation costs as affordable as possible. We also have adopted a pay-as-you-go model for certain amenities such as locks, toiletry kits and towels by offering such items on a chargeable basis.&nbsp;&lt;/li>

&lt;li>All guests are mandatorily required to do a pre-arrival contactless check-in via the Glu app (link of which is shared with each guest immediately post booking). Additionally, it is mandatory for every guest to present a GoI (Government of India) approved photo ID at the time of check-in (valid IDs being passport, aadhar, driving license or a voter ID). For foreigners, it is mandatory to present their passport and a valid visa (in originals) during the time of check-in. All Pakistani guests staying at any of our hostels must carry and present an additional residence permit letter from the Indian High Commission in Islamabad along with the passport and valid visa at the time of their check-in. PAN card or a student id card, etc. shall not be accepted as valid ID cards.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Guests with local IDs are allowed admission to our hostels except for Kasol, Manali, Jaipur, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Agra, Ramgarh, Kasol Riverside, Jeolikote.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Unmarried couples are allowed to book &amp; stay The Hosteller.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The Hosteller’s Glu web app is an effort from our end to make the entire travel experience enriching &amp; smart. Using Glu, the guests can contact less check-ins, raise requests during their stay, order food &amp; beverage, book bike/car rentals, review/rate us &amp; make their travel 100% seamless.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Payment modes accepted at our hostels: Cash, debit card, credit card and UPI payments.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>100% prepayment is mandatory at our hostels on or prior to check-in to ensure guaranteed booking.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Non resident guests shall not be allowed beyond the common areas (most definitely not inside the guest rooms).&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>In case anyone is traveling in a group of 2+ more people, we do not guarantee the accommodation arrangement for all the guests in the same dorm room. Allocation of rooms happens in an automated manner subject to availability at the time, varied floor arrangements, etc.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Specific policies may apply to different hostels under the brand at specific times of the year and the same shall be communicated at the time of check-in.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The Hosteller operates F&amp;B services under the banner of “Unbox” cafes which serve hot and freshly prepared vegetarian food only. We also operate bar services at certain hostels. General cafe timings are: 08 AM - 2 PM &amp; 6 PM - midnight (it can vary from hostel to hostel).&lt;/li>
&lt;li>We are a pet-friendly hostel chain with the exception of Agra, Bir, Bangalore Brigade Road, Shoja, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Fort Kochi, Lonavala and Udaipur Opera House. In case anyone is found indulging in such activities, anywhere inside the premises, we shall be liable to take strict actions ultimately leading to asking you to vacate the premises immediately. The guest shall also be deemed unfit to continue any further at any of our hotels in cases non-adherence of general policies, misbehavior (physical/mental/verbal or in any kind) with other guests or hotel management, theft, vandalism, trespassing, non-payment/delay in payment of dues, other guest inconveniences or any such unwarranted actions. In all such cases, the guest shall be asked to vacate the premises immediately without any refunds.&lt;/span>&lt;/li>
